Louis van Gaal will finally see a Manchester United side with his prized summer assets come this weekend against Queens Park Rangers.
Ander Herrera is reportedly fit to go, with the box-to-box creative midfielder adding strength to a United side that could see the debuts of both Daley Blindand Radamel Falcao.
The Red Devils have yet to win a domestic game under LVG, but have been a side in flux with the transfer window rolling through the team. Gone are Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley, with plenty of new faces taking their spots.
The injury to Herrera and work permit hold-up for defender Marcos Rojo weren’t helpful to United’s early season fortunes, either, as the club was bounced from the League Cup by MK Dons in humiliating 4-0 fashion.
They’ve drawn at Burnley and Sunderland after losing to Swansea City at Old Trafford to start the Premier League season.
